Mr. Bingley and Mr. Darcy came over. My biggest fear was that Jane could not handle him being around her. She said she felt nothing, but I knew that was a lie. I didn’t know how strong her heart was, until he asked to speak to her privately. HE PROPSED! Nothing could better than that, she was happy once again. My mother had to be happier than even Jane herself. The night passed, and we got an unexpected visitor. I had the pleasure of privately having a word with Lady Catherine. The nerve of that woman, speaking to me in ill-mannered, insulting me, and making me promise that I will deny Mr. Darcy. I refused to do such a thing, which is what surprised me, the most. In the very moment I realized that I wanted him to ask me again. Darcy and I met again, he heard of what happened between his aunt and me. To make a long story short, he proposed, I agreed. I never thought I could get myself to love him.

When the Gardiner’s found Lydia and Wickham they weren’t married, however soon after we found out that they were, they had a wedding.  I was in shock to find out that Darcy participated in their wedding. He seems to surprise me a little more every time. I didn’t think he could be that kind of man, he loathed Wickham, but he paid for the wedding, and paid his debt. If I wasn’t wrong before I am now, Mr. Darcy is no longer the same man I once thought he was. I like to think he did this for me, as conceited as that may sound; it’s a nice thought. As Mrs. Gardiner was revealing this all to me, my perspective of him has changed. At least now Lydia is married, and has security. My mother looked passed at the fact that she eloped; she only saw that one of her daughters was married off. My typical mother.

While I was with Gardiner’s in Pemberley I ran into Darcy. I felt a little awkward, but more surprise then anything since our last encounter. After everything it was hard to be around him, but he wanted me to meet his sister. He thinks highly of his sister, and for him to want me to meet her, then that’s somewhat of an honor… I assume. I heard horror things of her, so I was a little terrified, but when I met her she seemed the exact opposite. I’ve realized that I am too quick to judge, I assumed the worst of them because of their status. I later found out that Lydia one of my youngest sisters ran off with Wickham. I am ashamed of her, she has not grown up yet, how could I expect her to, she’s a child and all she wants is to get married. We were all hurt, how can she do that to us, and to a man like that. I misjudged him, I now know that this was the worst choice she could have done, especially the way she did it.

Mrs. Gardiner decided that it would be a good choice that Jane should go back to London with them, while I go visit Charlotte in her new home. I met the famous Lady Catherine De Bourgh, what a lovely lady, and you’ll never guess who was there… Mr. Darcy, he seems to be around a lot. Darcy is some kind of character I found out that he was the reason why Jane and Bingley broke it off. Who does that? As if he knew Jane, and he could comprehend the type of person she is. Not to mention he proposed to me, the nerve of that man, his proposal was stating how better he was than me, and he cannot love me, but that he can no longer fight it. I was in such a rage. My feelings of anger didn’t last very long, I found out the type of man Wickham is. It felt so wrong being angry toward Darcy.

My family and I went to another ball, Mr. Collins joined us. He asked me to dance, as if I really wanted to do that, but being lady liked I had to agree. Jane danced with Bingley, no surprise there, but what I found surprising was that Wickham wasn’t there, I was looking forward of him joining me that evening. That night kept getting odd, Mr. Darcy asked for the next dance, and I said yes. The words came out unexpectedly. The next day took a turn for the worse, Mr. Collins proposed to me. It was wrong in so many ways; I couldn’t let myself to say yes, even if this was for my family. Later that day, Jane received a letter stating that Mr. Bingley is leaving and never returning. What seemed to be nothing but perfect, is falling apart.  After everything I soon find out that my best friend Charlotte is getting married to Mr. Collins. I am so angry at her, but there is nothing I can do, she wants to get married.
